Call for Papers 2027

Present your research at V-CIM 2027 - the IEEE National Conference on VLSI, Communication & Intelligent Machine. The conference will be held in hybrid mode at OUTR, Bhubaneswar from 7-9 January 2027.

Authors (Invitation to Participate)

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers that advance the state of the art in VLSI systems, communication technologies, intelligent machines, embedded intelligence, signal processing, and related interdisciplinary areas.

V-CIM 2027 welcomes contributions from researchers, faculty members, scientists, industry professionals, startups, and students. Accepted papers must be presented by at least one registered author for possible inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to IEEE quality and scope requirements.

Registration & Guidelines

Registration

  • At least one author of each accepted paper must register by 20 December 2026.
  • One full author registration covers one accepted paper.
  • Authors may present in person at OUTR Bhubaneswar or virtually in approved hybrid sessions.

General Guidelines

  • Submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere.
  • Papers must follow IEEE double-column conference format.
  • All manuscripts will undergo similarity screening and peer review.

VLSI & Embedded Systems Low-power VLSI, FPGA/ASIC design, SoC, NoC, EDA, hardware security, testing, and verification.
Intelligent Machines & AI Edge AI, ML accelerators, neuromorphic computing, computer vision, robotics, and autonomous systems.
Communication Systems 5G/6G, massive MIMO, optical communication, cognitive radio, THz communication, and network intelligence.
Signal & Image Processing Biomedical signals, speech, radar, sonar, image analysis, smart sensors, and deep learning for signals.
IoT & Cyber-Physical Systems Smart cities, sensor networks, industry 4.0, embedded IoT platforms, CPS security, and digital twins.
Security & Trustworthy Systems Secure VLSI, lightweight cryptography, PUFs, communication security, privacy, and reliable AI systems.

Note: All deadlines follow Indian Standard Time (IST).

Author Guidelines

Manuscript Format

  • Full papers: 4-6 pages in IEEE double-column conference format.
  • Short papers/posters: up to 3 pages, considered for presentation tracks.
  • Manuscripts must be written in English with clear abstract, keywords, figures, and references.

Review & Ethics

  • Submissions will be peer reviewed by the technical program committee.
  • Similarity should be within the conference plagiarism policy limit.
  • Authors must address reviewer comments in the final camera-ready version.

Submission

All papers must be submitted electronically through Microsoft CMT. Email submissions will not be considered.

Publication

Accepted and presented papers will be submitted for possible inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to IEEE scope, quality, plagiarism, formatting, and publication requirements.

V-CIM 2027 invites proposals for special sessions in focused and emerging areas aligned with VLSI, communication, and intelligent machine technologies.

Author Interactive Sessions

Presentation & Discussion

Authors will participate in interactive oral, poster, and hybrid presentation sessions designed for technical discussion with reviewers, peers, and industry participants.

Demonstrations & Mentoring

Selected authors may be invited for demo-focused sessions, doctoral interactions, and mentoring conversations around publication quality, prototype readiness, and translational research.
